Tax treatment:
- The purchase/refurbishment must be made within 4 years of opening the account.
- You can obtain tax deductions on the contributions you make if they are to be used to purchase a first home (regular residence).
Alternatively, you can choose from other types of deposit, including Term Savings, which can be used in the same way as the Home Account and also offer tax benefits in addition to their own specific features.
