CatalunyaCaixa is a member of the Visa and MasterCard secure payment systems (Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code). When you use a card to make an internet purchase from an establishment that is a member of these systems, you will be asked for a code from your coordinates card.
You can identify these establishments by the logos shown here.
Plus, if IT systems detect potentially irregular or fraudulent transactions, you will be phoned by the relevant department.
